The IMU Pro Mini Unit is a compact inertial motion unit equipped with a range of sensors to provide extensive measurement capabilities. It includes the BMI270 six-axis altitude sensors for precise tracking of acceleration and angular velocity. The BMM150 three-axis geomagnetic sensor and the BMP280 atmospheric pressure sensor enhance its functionality, enabling the unit to detect geomagnetic field direction and intensity and measure atmospheric conditions, respectively.

This unit has a small form factor and an I2C communication interface, making it suitable for a variety of applications including navigation, automation control, robotics, aircraft navigation, weather monitoring, and geolocation. Its adaptability extends to compatibility with different microcontrollers and systems.

The BMI270 within the unit is capable of measuring object acceleration with a precision of 0.05% and angular velocity at 0.05°/s. These measurements can be finely tuned through programmable configurations. Additional capabilities such as gesture recognition, scene detection, and activity recognition can be developed according to your requirements.

It includes a BMM150 digital magnetometer, which is optimised for low power consumption and high accuracy, making the IMU Pro Mini Unit effective as a professional compass.

Lastly, the BMP280 sensor allows the unit to measure atmospheric pressure and temperature with high accuracy, which also enables its use as an altimeter, providing altitude measurements with an accuracy of ±1 meter. This versatility makes the IMU Pro Mini Unit an essential tool for a wide range of technical applications.
